• Under current NSW Health Guidelines, all students, event choreography clients, and private class students/clients must show proof of a double COVID-19 vaccination prior the commencement of classes/lessons.
• Ekta Creative Dance Studio will function on a drop-off/pick up basis only. If a parent needs to speak to the teacher, please maintain the recommended distance. All payments are contactless and must be paid prior to class or term commencement. Pre-payment online will help us maintain a safe environment while facilitating smoother operations.
• At the entrance of the studio, a hand sanitiser will be available for students and a QR code where all will need to sign in. Parents must sign in for their child where they are not able to. We also encourage each dancer to have their own travel sanitiser available.
• Students must be picked up promptly as supervision will end when their class ends.
• Only student/participants are allowed to remain inside the studio during class.
• Please bring your own water bottles and take them home with you. All water bottles left inside the studio will be discarded.
• Please take all your rubbish along with you.
• Masks are optional for dancers as there are issues with children exercising wearing masks. If you choose to wear a mask while dancing, please be aware of any breathing issues that may occur and make sure it is safe for you.
• Please note that occupancy inside the studio and class size will be limited to maintain effective physical distancing practices and to comply with health and safety regulations by state officials. Each person needs to maintain a distance of 1.5m from the others.
• Anyone being tested for COVID must advise us immediately and must share the results when they are back

These “COVID Safety Rules” are not comprehensive and may be revised at any time. Once again, your health and safety while in our studio is extremely important to us. We expect everyone to abide by the rules and guidelines described above to keep each other safe.
As a business, if we determine a dancer or guardian is violating these guidelines, we reserve the right to deny entry into the studio or send them home.
Kindly note that if there are any restrictions reimposed with the evolving pandemic circumstances, we will not be able to provide any carryforwards. No account freeze or carryforwards, all classes will continue online.

In addition to being unprecedented, the coronavirus pandemic remains a highly fluid situation. While the state and city have permitted businesses to reopen, the risk posed by coronavirus remains. While we have taken our best precautions to keep you and our dancers healthy and safe while inside the studio, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a dancer will not become ill. This being the case, it is essential to know your choice to attend classes is at your own risk. You assume all risk and liability associated with the coronavirus infection.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. Coronavirus is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person to person contact. As a result, federal and state governments and health agencies recommend physical distancing and have in many places prohibited the assembly of large groups.
By agreeing, you (referred to below as “I”) understand, acknowledge and agree to the following statements:

• I assume the risks that I, my guests and/or my children may be exposed to or become infected with the coronavirus. Such exposure and/or infection may result in personal injury, illness, causing mild symptoms such as fever or body aches, or more severe complications, such as pneumonia or organ failure, permanent disability or death. I further understand that the risk of exposure to or infection with the coronavirus may result from the acts omissions or negligence of yourself or others, including but not limited to Ekta Creative Dance Studio staff.
• I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver and release of Liability and fully understand that this is a release of Liability.
• I Agree if I should require medical care of treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance
• I Agree This agreement was entered into at arm’s length, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. I confirm that this agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms and that I have had an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification regarding any and all provisions.
• If the participant is under the age of consent (18 years or under), then this release must be accepted by a parent or guardian.

By registering to attend any Ekta Creative Dance Studio classes, you agreed to the Release of Liability Agreement:

1. I am participating in classes, offered by Ekta Creative Dance Studio. I recognise that dance classes require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks involved.
2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Classes. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit, and I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in the Classes.
3. I understand that it is my responsibility to advise the instructor of any injuries or if I am pregnant so the instructor can provide suitable modifications where required.
4. In consideration of being permitted to participate in Classes, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the lessons.
5. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in Classes, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against the owners, instructors, and assistants, individually or otherwise, of Ekta Creative Dance Studio for damages, and injury that I may sustain as a result of participating in classes.
6. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Ekta Creative Dance Studio for injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
7. I will not hold responsible/sue Ekta Creative Dance Studio, instructors or employees for any injuries suffered by me caused whole or in part by my failure to follow the instructions of you or your employees or by any physical impairment of mine not fully disclosed to you in writing.

• Students/Participants are required to show respect to their instructors and other students/participants
• Students/Participants are required to only offer advice in class or on the dance floor when directly asked.
• Students/Participants are required to respect the studio property and premises.
• Students/Participants should try to attend all classes, punctually and as a courtesy, apologise when interrupting a class and to advise teachers (in advance when possible) if they will be absent from a class.
• Students/Participants are required to revise and practice when preparing for performances.
• Students/Participants are required to moderate their language, conversation and behaviour when they are representing the studio.
• Students/Participants are required to clean up after themselves and maintain clean studios and amenities.
• Students/Participants are required to be respectful when other classes are taking place.
• Students/Participants are required to use deodorant. Students who perspire excessively should keep a personal hand towel on hand and/or change of clothing.
• Breaching the code, depending on the severity of an incident, one warning will be given, followed by a suspension.
• Stealing is not tolerated and will result in suspension from Ekta Creative Dance Studio. Whether the direct acquisition of another person’s property, not paying studio fees or not enrolling in classes/paying the required fees of the course without prior agreement.

Ekta Creative Dance Studio is committed to providing safe, supportive, respectful, and educational classes and workshops for each of our students/participants. We believe that ethics – moral principles, standard practices, and etiquette are important elements in the dance world and should be part of a dancer’s education. To provide a safe and uplifting environment for everyone, we ask that instructors and students/participants follow the studio’s code of conduct. It takes everyone’s help to create a positive learning experience.

• Ekta Creative Dance Studio is dedicated to providing quality custom choreography services.
• Lessons can be conducted Face to Face, through Google Meet or delivered via a recorded Video Tutorial.
• Where possible you must give us no less than 24 hours notice for any rescheduling or cancellation of the lesson, otherwise you will still be charged for the lesson. Email info@ektacreative.com.au or call 0478 525 726 to reach us.
• You are required to provide us with your music choice. Ekta Creative Dance Studio will only provide recommendations, and access to our YouTube Playlists, however will not be able to make a song choice for you.
• Pricing may be subject to change depending on location of lessons, length and total performance time. A quote will be provided following an initial consultation.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to be made to lock in your booking. The remainder of the payment is due at the completion of your final lesson, or upon receiving your video tutorial.
• The finalisation of a booking is defined by the initial 50% deposit being paid by the due date on the invoice.
• An additional late booking fee will be applied to any booking finalised less than 2 months prior to the cut off date indicated in the booking form.
• Events that can be choreographed formay include Engagements, Haldis, Sangeets, Weddings, Receptions, Birthday or Anniversary Parties. Events not included in this list may be considered upon inquiry. Contact us to find out more.
• It is the sole responsibility of the client to choose the adequate amount of lessons that will be required to teach and rehearse all members in their group.
• It is up to the client to disclose how many dances will be required; the exact number of dancers in each dance; and the skill level of each dancer.
• If any extra rehearsals are required, the client may purchase one or more add-on lessons following discussion with the dance instructor.
• Ekta Creative Dance Studio will do our part to teach a dance routine to the best of our ability with the time given to us. We do not take any responsibility for what may be deemed as a low quality performance on the day of the client's event.
• Ekta Creative Dance Studio reserves the right to suggest add-on lessons where we believe more rehearsal is required to achieve the best quality of performance. If this suggestion is disregarded, and the performance quality is not to your liking, we do not take any responsibility for any presumed lack of quality.
• Music editing includes editing and combining tracks if remixing of songs are required. This is an un-deductible feature of our packages.
• Video recording of lessons is only permitted upon our discretion.

1. Before attending a dance class at Ekta Creative Dance Studio, you agree to provide us with your full name, phone number, email address and next of kin contact details in case of emergency.
2. We do not run our classes on a casual attendance basis, all students are expected to attend for the full term.
3. Payments must all be done through our online portal on our website. Eftpos/credit cards are accepted for all purchases. No personal cheques. Refunds can only be arranged for unforeseen or serious medical reasons
4. Primary communication is through email, it is the student/participant or parents' responsibility to regularly check their email for communication from Ekta Creative Dance Studio.
5. Class dates and times are subject to change. If a class is cancelled or changed you will be notified.
6. Ekta Creative Dance Studio takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes. By entering our dance studio you agree that Ekta Creative Dance Studio is in no way responsible for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the studios. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit for the class and during the class you must take care at all times of your own personal safety. You must monitor the safekeeping of personal belongings while attending class, as Ekta Creative Dance Studio does not take responsibility for lost or stolen property.
7. You understand that classes at Ekta Creative Dance Studio may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. You agree that you will not sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Ekta Creative Dance Studio or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
8. Patrons to the Dance Studios will be refused entry if thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.
9. All the classes need to be booked and paid in advance to secure your place.
10. Students must not enter the studio before their starting time and wait outside the studio.
11. Hair should be tied up during the dance class and appropriate clothing such as active wear or simple traditional dance practice wear (e.g. plain kurta with tights) must be worn.
12. Exits must be kept clear all the times.
13. For Sunday Kids Classes only: In the event that one classes are combined due to a teacher absence, refunds will not be offered, as the class has not been cancelled.

Discounts are provided through refunds after you have paid for your classes. These discounts are only applicable for classes, not workshops.

The 'Refer a Friend' Discount is only available for the person who is making the referral, NOT for the person being referred. It is also only valid if the friend enrols for a term as well. If you are a returning student, you may not refer a friend you have already referred prior.

The 'Siblings' Discount is only available for parents who are enrolling two or more of their own children, and can only be redeemed once.

1. If WE (Ekta Creative Dance Studio) have to cancel a class, students will be notified in advance and fees for those missed classes will be refunded at the end of the term.
2. We may cancel a class if we are aware that the number of students who will be attending that given class falls below our limit for minimum number of attendance.

ALL Class and Workshop fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If a student/client would like to check services prior to payment, a free class viewing can be arranged. Refunds are only offered in the case of a class or workshop cancellation by us.

1. Costume Viewing: We are unable to offer viewings of the costumes prior to bookings. Our catalogue includes photos, sizing, and colour descriptions to the best of our ability.
2. Booking Confirmation: Booking of costumes is subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking form and payment of the required deposit.
3. Deposit: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure the costumes and put them on hold. This deposit will not be returned if a cancellation occurs.
4. Payment: Full payment is required 7 days before your scheduled pick-up date. If you cancel your booking prior to the pick-up date, payment will be refunded, but your $25 deposit will be withheld. Refunds are not available once the costume has been picked up, regardless of whether it was used for your event or not.
5. Bond: A 25% bond will be added to your booking. This bond will only be refunded upon the safe return of the costumes in their original condition. The bond will not be returned in the case of damages to costumes or late returns.
6. Costume Care: Customers are responsible for the care and safekeeping of the costumes while in their possession. Costumes must be returned in the same condition as they were received, with no stains, tears, alterations, or missing components. Any damages beyond reasonable wear and tear may result in the withholding of the bond. For significant damage to costumes, additional charges may apply.
7. Rental Period: The standard rental period is maximum 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon. Costumes must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time to avoid late fees.
8. Late Returns: Late return of costumes will incur a fee of $10 per item per day. If Costumes are unable to be returned by the due date, you must inform us minimum 48 hours before the scheduled return date to make alternate arrangements.
9. Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 hours prior to your costume pick-up date will receive a refund, with the $25 deposit withheld. Refunds for cancellations made after this timeframe will only be granted at the discretion of Ekta Creative Dance Studio.
10. Alterations: Costumes must not be altered or modified in any way without prior approval from Ekta Creative Dance Studio. Any unauthorised alterations may incur additional charges. We recognize that the use of safety pins may be necessary. However, you must use high-quality safety pins and ensure they do not cause any damage to the costumes.
11. Lost or Damaged Costumes: Customers are responsible for the full replacement cost of any costumes lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair while in their possession. Replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit, and any remaining balance will be invoiced to the customer.
12. Liability: Ekta Creative Dance Studio shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of rented costumes, including but not limited to allergic reactions, accidents, or mishaps during performances or events.
